We are currently looking to hire an Electrical QA/QC Manager for our team in Raleigh, NC .

Position Responsibilities

  • Inspect and monitor construction activities on-site to identify deviations from quality standards and Romaonoff best practices.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality control measures are understood and implemented at every stage of construction.
  • Review construction materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards before they are used on-site
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings to discuss quality control practices and expectations with subcontractors and project team members.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to construction quality, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide QA/QC inspections using QA/QC Evaluation Checklist as related to scopes of work ensuring standards and best practice are followed by staff.
  • Schedule QA/QC Status meetings with project teams to review Evaluation Checklist and make corrective actions as needed to comply with standards.
  • Train staff on ongoing NEC Code Changes, Best Practices

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Required: Minimum of 5 years experience in the Commercial and/ or Residential electrical field
  • Required: MS Suites proficient (excel, word, outlook, etc.)
  • Required: Experience to read blueprints
  • Required: Ability to read code (electrical residential code) (NC preferred)

Preferred Qualification Requirements

  • Multi-Family project knowledge
  • Fire Alarm License
  • Completion of an Accredited Apprenticeship Program

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
  • Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate
  • Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
