We are actively seeking an Assistant HVAC Estimator in the Charlotte, NC area to join our award WINNING team.

Assistant HVAC Estimator Responsibilities:

• Reading & Interpreting plans 
• Preparing quantity takeoffs, trade bid lists 
• Assists the Estimators in preparing bid packages for contractors & vendors
• Assist in the preparation of Job Folder setup
• Utilizing and managing in-house historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy
• Learn and use Accubid and other estimating software 
• Understand costing in terms of square foot, labor, and material 
• Work and collaborate with Team Members throughout the country for specific project needs 
• Provide support to Estimators and Sr. Estimators to further develop skills
• Acquire additional training as needed to improve communication and leadership skills

Assistant Estimator Experience and Qualification Requirements:

• (1 ) years HVAC experience 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Experience with Accubid software a plus
• Computerized/Digital takeoff
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to work independently at times
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Willing to learn and be a part of a team
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
• Adhere to company screenings
