The Coating Technician I position is a production role responsible for production spray or dip operations involving liquid or powder painting of manufactured products requiring standard finishes. Requires physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Mix paint products as required. Prepare surfaces for painting. Clean and maintain equipment. Inspect completed work and correct defects.
Hours: Mon – Fri 5:00 am-1:30 pm OR 1:30pm-10:00pm
What you’ll do:
1. Perform production spray or dip operations involving liquid or powder painting of manufactured products requiring standard finishes.
2. Must meet defined production expectations and be on-time to schedule.
3. Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and established safety protocols.
4. Load and unload carts.
5. Perform computer transactions, run dispatch list, and understand and decipher part numbers.
What you’ll bring:
1. Strong written and oral communication skills
2. Can operate an overhead crane under close supervision
3. Very basic math and computer skills
4. Ability to count accurately and read a tape measure
5. Able to read basic charts and drawings
Compensation: $20.00-$27.16 per hour
