We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper who has excellent communication skills, takes pride in their work, likes being part of a team, can work independently, and has great attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas:

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (NOT QuickBooks Desktop)
• Weekly payroll processing
• Taxes
• AP/AR
• Cashflow reporting
• Prepare job costing and Estimates vs Actuals reports
• Reconciliation of financial accounts
• HR experience, benefits management
• Workman’s compensation reporting
• State of Washington reporting
• Work with CPA to prepare for taxes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Buildertrend and QuickBooks Time
• Electronic and paper filing of accounting information
• Miscellaneous office administration - answering phones, greeting clients, mail pickup at post office

We require pre-employment drug testing, and a clean background check.

This is a full time position (35-40 hours per week) with an 8am start time in our office in NE Portland.

Salary is DOE: starting at $30
