Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and ensure their satisfaction.

Duties:

- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns or requests

- Provide accurate and detailed information about available services, including , brake repairs, diesel engine repairs, A/C repairs and more

- Schedule appointments for vehicle service and maintenance

- Prepare cost estimates for repairs or services needed

- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work

- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs or services required

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received

- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized service department

- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Advisor or in the automotive industry is preferred

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and repairs

- Ability to accurately estimate repair costs and provide recommendations to customers

- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling appointments, tracking inventory, and generating invoices

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
