    Description

    We are looking for a Part-Time Connections Attendant to work in our Activities department.
    A CONNECTIONS ATTENDANT is responsible to Assists in providing a program of activities which will cover spiritual, social, recreational and educational needs of residents as an integral part of their total care. Complete all necessary documentation.
    Essential job duties:
    • Leads group and one-on-one activities as directed by the Connection Facilitator.
    • Assists in planning activity program for residents.
    • Assists in recruiting residents for the connections program.
    • Assists in transporting residents to and from the connections program.
    • Assists in maintaining supply cupboards and monitoring condition of equipment for necessary repairs.
    • Accompanies residents to activity programs outside the facility or on a different unit.
    • Documents all activities for the residents.
    • Assists with seasonal décor on unit and in program area.
    • Posts monthly activity calendars in each residents room and in program area.
    • Assists in meal passing.

    Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or GED/TASC equivalent is required.
