Rolled Metal Products is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative - Metals Service Center

Rolled Metal Products, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join the team at our Lebanon, TN service center.

Summary of Position

The Inside SalesRepresentative is responsible for providing premier customer service to allcurrent and potential customers from the point of initial contact throughdelivery of the product. The Inside Sales Representative must also achievesales and profit goals established by the management team at Rolled MetalProducts, Inc. (RMP)

Responsibilities and Duties

As a minimum, thefollowing is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilitiesexpected of the Inside Sales Representative. These duties are not exhaustiveand are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.

  • Increasesales and provide support for current customer base as assigned.
  • Prepareproposals, quotes, and sales contracts.
  • Promptlyrespond to Request for Quotes (RFQ) for current and potential customers,utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Communicateleads to Outside Sales Representatives and work as a team to increase profitablesales.
  • Meetdaily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by the Inside Sales Manager, i.e., ordersbooked, customer outcalls per day, inventory management, and generation of newcustomers and profitability.
  • Executeorder entry in computer system immediately after order is taken and provide salesacknowledgments to the customers.
  • Proactivelyreview open orders and advise customers of delivery status changes.
  • Providetechnical assistance and solutions for customer returns.
  • Manageinventory levels.
  • Manageaccount services, utilizing CRM, through follow-up and quality checks.
  • Developand maintain existing product knowledge and sales materials.
  • Communicateeffectively with other Inside Sales Representatives, Outside SalesRepresentatives, management, and other co-workers.
  • Prepareand present various sales status reports to Management, upon request, includingactivity, follow-up, closing, and adherence to targets.
  • Contributeto a positive work environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Communicateeffectively with co-workers, customers, and management.

Required Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Twoor more years of sales experience
  • Marketingexperience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities (Sales only)
  • MicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
  • Excellentorganizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Abilityto effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
  • Excellentattention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
  • Strongwork ethic; self-motivated
  • Operatewith high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers,and suppliers

PreferredQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related area
  • Fouror more years of experience in sales and marketing, metals industry
