Join our dynamic team at Glendale Galleria mall, where we serve delightful crepes, ice cream, and milkshakes.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Lead to join our team and help ensure smooth operations during their shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, provide excellent customer service, address customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and serve crepes, ice cream, and milkshakes according to our recipes and standards.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle transactions efficiently.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Supervise Shift Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kiosk during your shift, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Team Collaboration and Leadership: Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment, lead and motivate team members, assign tasks, and ensure staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment as needed, and manage supplies to avoid shortages.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our quality standards, including the preparation and presentation of all served items.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service or retail industry.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or business management is a plus.
• Fluent in English: Strong verbal communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with customers.
• Proficiency in Spanish and Armenian is preferred
• US Work Authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
