The hospital served the community for over 12 years and moved into a free-standing facility in 2014. Rolesville Veterinary Hospital has two sister locations in the area, Louisburg Veterinary Clinic and Rolesville Veterinary Hospital at Forestville Crossing.

RVT Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Taking histories and providing initial client education
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
  • Care of hospitalized patients
  • Daily call backs to clients
  • Restraining patients
  • Assisting in taking of radiographs
  • Giving IV & IM injections
  • Dispensing controlled drugs
  • Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
  • Performing cytology’s
  • Monitor Surgical procedures
  • Lab Diagnostics
  • Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
  • Performing routine cleaning

Requirements and Qualifications

· At least 1-year related experience

· Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills

· Positive attitude

· Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment

· Cornerstone experience a plus
