Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with various cognitive or physical disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities

- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Administer first aid and monitor vital signs as needed

- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning individuals

- Support individuals in performing activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating, toileting, and medication management

- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

- Comply with all HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality

Skills:

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred

- Knowledge of direct support techniques and best practices

- First aid certification is a plus

- Ability to lift and assist with transfers as needed

- Proficient in monitoring vital signs

- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks

- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with individuals

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide flexible care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
