Rogue Valley Door, Inc. is Hiring an Entry-Level Manufacturing Near Grants Pass, OR
These positions are key contributor roles on department teams that require safely and efficiently manufacturing products that will meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”
- Learn RVD department terminology
- Learn to master all necessary job specific paperwork
- Observe and learn various duties
- Watching for issues and defects
- Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with Rogue Valley Door and OSHA guidelines
- General duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good hand and eye coordination
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding work ethic
- Be self-motivated
- Have a teamwork/positive attitude
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of wood species (helpful, but not required)
- Must be a quick learner
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Knowledge and ability to meet the physical demands and varying work environments at RVD
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
- Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
