POSITION SUMMARY:
Rogers State University is accepting applications for Resident Assistant.

PRIMARY DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide personal help and assistance to residents.
Conduct meetings with residents to discuss and explain policies, issues, and group concerns.
Keep student informed and, when necessary, direct them to appropriate referral sources.
Explain, follow, and enforce rules and regulations as outlined in the Residential Life Handbook.
Maintain an orderly and reasonably quiet environment.
Facilitate programs to promote the growth and development of students.
Duty schedule will depend on complex selection.

Excellent leadership qualities;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Have and maintain at least a 2.50 GPA overall each semester

PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS:

Engagement in RSU campus life;
Leadership experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to complete building rounds

REPORTS TO: Director of Residential Life; Assistant Director of Residential Life; Senior RA

HOURS: Vary depending on duty schedule
POSITION: Non-Exempt
