Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Equipment and Material Hauler with a Class A CDL license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation of equipment, materials, and supplies to and from construction sites. Safety, professionalism, and attention to detail are paramount in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport heavy equipment, construction materials, and supplies to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to assess vehicle condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and load securement guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist with general maintenance and equipment upkeep.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in truck driving.
• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and tractors, is a plus.
