As a Safety Intern, you will play a crucial role in conducting safety audits at job sites and delivering safety training to our workforce. Responsibilities:

  • Drive to job sites to conduct safety audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of safety training sessions and tailgate meetings to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Conduct site-specific safety orientations for new hires and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of workplace safety.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute ideas for improving safety policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining safety records, documentation, and incident reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to construction safety and incorporate relevant updates into training programs and procedures.
