Roeslein & Associates is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Louisville, CO

POSITION SUMMARY:

Servtech Inc., a Roeslein Company, is seeking an Industrial Electrical Assembly Technician for our electrical assembly manufacturing department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Must be willing to learn how to analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems.
  • The ability to follow verbal direction, training, and procedures
  • Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete wiring of electrical systems.
  • Familiar with safe and productive use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code is helpful but not required
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning system components using test equipment and technical data to correct issues
  • Must be able to kneel and work on knees constantly
  • Reaching overhead while working on a ladder
  • Assist pulling electric cable and lining it out in cable tray
  • Lift up to 15 pounds above your head often while working on a ladder
  • Ability to help the painting department carry, pick up, and pour 5-gallon buckets (40 pounds) of paint, reach overhead to paint with a repetitive motion
  • Follow Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, lift, push, pull, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. Must be able to stand 90% of the time and walk 10% of the time.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
  • 0-2 years of electrical experience is preferred but not required
  • An associates degree or electrical journeyman certificate is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn how to read blueprints, line, and schematic drawings, and ladder logic is required
  • High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DS experience is required
  • Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and issues
  • Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely while producing a quality product
  • Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts
  • Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment
