Responsibilities

This role provides administrative support to the human resources function as needed, including employee onboarding and offboarding, upkeep of HRIS, employee file maintenance, learning and management system, recognition, benefits, and performance management. 

  • Coordinates new employee preparation, including coordination with Roers support teams, scheduling of new employees, setting up work stations, ordering Roers swag, etc.
  • Completes onboarding process including creation of new employee documents and entering information in the HRIS system.
  • Assigns new hire training through learning management system and assists in maintain assignments. 
  • Assists with reporting and upkeep of SOP management system. 
  • Completes employment verifications for third parties.
  • Supports coordination and implementation of employee recognition and engagement activities at the corporate office. 
  • Coordinates, educates, and administers monthly wellness initiatives
  • Maintains the accuracy and security of all HR-related files in accordance with the records retention policy including employee personnel files, medical files and I-9’s.
  • Champion and support Monday.com initiatives. 
  • Serves as back up to Office Manager. 
  • General support of Human Resources team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field.
  • 1 years of Human Resources experience in a professional services environment 
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Work & Excel, knowledge of internet, e mail and social media as it pertains to marketing the property.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people.
  • Strong drive and the ability to self-motivate in the face of multiple priorities while managing time efficiently. 
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
  • High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – loves to be challenged, determined to win, puts clients and teammates first, collaborative, inquisitive, self-motivated, and operates on trust (not fear).
  • High integrity – trusted, direct, truthful. Embodies confidence and admits mistakes.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: stationary work 85% of the time using a computer and applicable office equipment, ability to walk property, including up to 4 flights of stairs, and drive a vehicle to meet prospective employees.
  • Maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
