Job Duties include:
Job Duties include:
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to assist in the creation of carbide tools and dies.
- Assist in setting up and operating machinery and equipment such as lathes, grinders, and CNC machines under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Use precision measuring instruments to support in verifying the dimensions and tolerances of carbide tools and dies.
- Aid in conducting quality inspections to ensure that products meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with senior tool and die makers, engineers, and other team members to learn and troubleshoot issues related to production processes.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of production activities, materials used, and any encountered issues during the manufacturing process.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or training in tool and die making is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of tool and die making.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
