Roderick Builders is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Heber, UT

Roderick Builders is a leading construction company specializing in Residential Projects. With a commitment to excellence, we take pride in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Project Startups / Closeouts: Manage the initial and final phases of projects, handling permits, subcontractor agreements, and paperwork to ensure smooth project commencement and completion.
2. Project Accounting and Contracting: Oversee project finances, tracking budgets, approving expenses, and negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors to maintain cost efficiency.
3. Scheduling: Develop and update project schedules, coordinating tasks and deadlines with various teams to ensure timely project progress.
4. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality standards, conducting regular inspections to uphold craftsmanship and compliance with regulations.
5. Budgeting: Create project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to optimize profitability.
6. Estimating / Buyout: Estimate project costs, source materials and services, and negotiate terms with suppliers to support project requirements.
7. Customer Service: Act as the primary client contact, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
8. Trade Coordination with Subcontractors: Coordinate work schedules and resources with subcontractors, resolving conflicts and issues as they arise.
9. Team Management: Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency among staff to achieve project goals.
10. Communication: Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
11. Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, progress reports, and incident documentation for reference and audit purposes.
12. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Successful individuals that possess the following attributes:
- Construction experience and/or degree in Construction Management preferred but not required
- 8 years' experience as a Custom Home Construction Project Manager
- Experience in managing Custom Home projects valued at $2M and above
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Experience with project management programs, such as BuilderTrend, is advantageous
- Time management skills
- Ideally the successful candidates will not only have custom home construction experience but have good business acumen as well.

Compensation:
Salary ranging from $110,000 to $160,000 depending on experience.
