Job Description / Summary

Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. Organize material and write descriptive copy according to established standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Develop, write, and edit functional descriptions, specifications, bills of material, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship required

EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or a similar field.

EXPERIENCE: At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Technical Documentation Specialist or a similar role.

SKILLS:

• Fluency in technical and common office software
• Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for a general audience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Components for RF Microwave applications
• Knowledge of coding and scripting languages, such as C , Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or other program or declarative languages would be an advantage
• Ability to effectively use analytics to improve user-facing content and applicant programming interface (API).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software is an advantage

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:

• • Incorporate ECNs/PCNs in Technical Drawing Packages.
  • Research alternate replacement parts for fit, form and function.
  • Update Bills of Material / Drawings according to feedback from engineers.
  • Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs.
  • Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
  • Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
  • Setting up drawing formats and configuration files.
  • Performs other duties as required
