Job Overview :

We are seeking a Banking and Finance Associate to join our team of highly dedicated compliance and accounting professionals.

This position requires someone with a keen attention to detail, a passion for doing things right, and exceptional organizational skills.

Banking and Finance Associates are responsible for processing all incoming political contributions for Candidate Committees, Political Action Committees (PACs), Joint Fundraising Committees (JFCs), or Party Committees.

Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming USPS mail & FedEx and log into our tracking software
• Organize paperwork into neat order based on client and sum amount of money in each package
• Prepare the bank deposit for Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) machine
• Work with Banking Manager on making the deposit utilizing RDC machine
• Save deposit receipt in the appropriate client folder with correct naming format
• File paperwork at the end of daily basis into our filing system
• Assist in a variety of other tasks related to campaign finance and political campaign operations including real time cash on hand updates, data entry of financial information utilizing OCR technology, and financial analysis of our clients financial activity

Requirements :

• 4 year degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
• Strong organizational, communication, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Experience in donor database management or accounting software a plus
