Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in need, including children and adults
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Medications reminders as noted on the care plan
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
- Document care provided and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults in a caregiving role is preferred
- Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and sterile processing procedures is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with individuals and their families
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and adapt to different behavioral health needs
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care to individuals
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
