About the position…

As a transportation broker, you will be working individually and with trucking companies to move our customers’ freight, providing support to carrier teams, track shipments, provide customer updates, and resolve issues as needed.

Also responsible for prospecting and converting leads into new customers and assisting customers with requests for quotes.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Grow new and existing business utilizing all services available
• Strong price negotiations to grow sustainable and profitable business relationships
• Provide customers with the most efficient and safe mode of transportation
• Increase revenues and improve profitability
• Anticipate service impacts and implement solutions
• Communicate with Customer Service concerning ETA & availability

What we’re looking for…

• Previous transportation/logistics experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Positive attitude and a desire to learn and thrive

In connection with Colorado’s “Equal Pay for Equal Work Act,” RMX provides the following information as a good faith estimate for this position only: The hourly rate for this exempt, full-time position generally ranges between $18.00 to $23.00. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. This job is also eligible for a quarterly bonus potential.
