Role Summary:

The Warehouse Associate/Driver is responsible for picking up vendor orders, delivering product to our locations across the state, helping pack orders and meeting customer distribution needs across the state! In this role, you will be driving a vehicle to and from the Santa Fe office/distribution center. You will be responsible for assisting in the warehouse packing deliveries, loading the vehicle with packages and safely delivering them to different destinations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Compliantly deliver product orders to customers at their desired location
• Pick up product orders from vendors and deliver to distribution center
• Pay for vendor orders with cash/check as needed and properly document
• Transport cash as needed with proper documentation
• Be an expert in safely and responsibly driving a vehicle
• Must be well versed on all CCD transportation regulations for NM
• Maintain regular communication with management about the status of packages delivered, any issues on the route, and customer satisfaction levels
• Communicate with vendors via phone or email as needed
• Follow all safety procedures when transporting and delivering product
• Execute deliveries according to schedule and is punctual
• Follow all company policies including attendance and dress code requirements
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups, submit documentation, submit invoices and manifests upon return
• Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
• Use navigation applications to follow manifest defined directions
• Interact with clients professionally at all times
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
• Reports any vehicle issues/maintenance issues to Distribution Manager
• Keep gas receipts organized and available for reimbursements
• Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
• Other tasks as assigned

Education, Experience & Skills:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass background check
• Ability to learn and become fully knowledgeable of State cannabis regulations
• Flexibility to be assigned to different tasks throughout the day
• Customer service orientated with strong negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage, packages and objects, as well as be able to load and unload them from their vehicle
• Clean Driving Record
• A valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery locations
• Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
