Description

TITLE: Logistics Coordinator

SHIFT: Monday - Friday; 7:00AM-3:30PM (must be available to work overtime as needed).

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Plan and build loads in warehouse management system based on customer order and/or demand.
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Systems to verify inventory status and request documents when necessary to ensure Regulatory compliance. Work with Quality Assurance to fill out nonconformance forms and reject damage material.
* Communicate with Customer Service and Supply Chain to ensure inventory availability.
* Communicate with carriers and customers to arrange transportation.
* Update trailer schedule and/or Uber Freight with appointment information.
* Generate appropriate paperwork for orders (pick slip, pack slip, driver check-in, etc.)
* Update customer ERP system with order and appointment information.
* Complete end-of-month checklist per customer requirements.
* Inspect shipments to ensure quality specifications are within standard.
* Review and correct receiving or warehouse item transfer transaction errors.
* Communicate with CI team to troubleshoot and correct errors within JDE/DSI scripts.
* Review ST/Ots for accuracy or duplicates and correct any shipping errors in a timely manner.
* Complete cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Moves finished product utilizing Bills of Material/Lading to appropriate trailers for outbound shipment.
* Locate product and scan product into various production locations and print bills of lading.
* Identify external customers by directing customers to appropriate doors, completing required paperwork.
* Troubleshooting shipping issues. Compete BOLs for completed loads. Scan confirmed loads into DocuShare.
* Communicate when live loads arrive.

This position is designated as Safety-Sensitive (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or the safety of others).

Product Security Sensitive - As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons, and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these "outbound" shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)

* High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years warehouse experience.
* Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Warehouse flow. Experience in Logistics (warehouse shipping & receiving). Experience with forklift and powered industrial trucks required.
* Familiarity with transportation scheduling or dispatch systems. Experience Logistics or ERP systems required, JDEdwards experience preferred.
* Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working knowledge of GMP, FDA ad OSHA regulations and guidelines a plus.
* Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
