Rockingham County Schools is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist 2024-2025 Near Eden, NC
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the theory, principles, and methods of speech-language pathology;
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps;
- Strong interpersonal relationship and customer service skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team concept;
- Ability to independently resolve problems;
- Ability to organize information from multiple sources;
- Ability to select, learn, and administer appropriate assessment and treatment activities;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, external agencies, and the public.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree obtained in an approved program in Speech Language Pathology.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year with ASHA;
- A license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or eligibility to complete the Supervised Experience Year with the NC BOE;
