Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking a talented Dining Room Host or Hostess with a dynamic personality to deliver excellence in service to our guests. Your goal is to provide outstanding service and knowledge to ensure guests receive a memorable experience for each and every meal. You will work collaboratively with top Culinary Institute of America graduates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner; always with a smile.
• Plan table seating charts.
• Take dining reservations for dinner accurately, following daily reservation schedule.
• Always create a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
• Assist dining staff with bussing and setting tables properly in an efficient manner with the highest attention to detail.
• Work closely with Dining Room Management to address all guest concerns immediately
• Engage with guests during service to ensure they are happy.

Qualifications

• 1 year(s) hosting experience preferred, but willing to train highly motivated candidates
• Excellent Customer Service with a dynamic personality
• Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable attention to cleanliness and safety
• Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a true team player
