We are seeking a Patient Account & Credentialing Representative to join our team!

Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area’s most vulnerable populations.

The organization is looking to add a Patient Account & Credentialing Representative for our School Based Health Care Clinic at Springfield High School. This individual performs eligibility verification of insurance, performs necessary edits and submission of claims through our Electronic Health Record System. Prior insurance billing and collections experience is required. In addition, will assist the Contracts and Paneling Specialist on employee job position credentialing as needed. You will enjoy the benefits of a 4 ½ day work week working alongside a great team at the Rocking Horse!

Position Info:

Position Title: Patient Account & Credentialing Representative for School Based Health Care

Primary Service Center: Springfield OH – Springfield High School location.

FLSA Status: Hourly – Non-Exempt position

Work Hours: Full-time position

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate degree or three (3) to five (5) years of equivalent experience in the field of billing and collections is required.

Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace Exchange plans, and Commercial insurance is required.

Education and or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates degree or three (3) to five (5) years of equivalent experience in the field of billing and collections required.

  Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one –on –one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.

  Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounts Receivable software, spreadsheet software and Word processing software.
