    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Maintains user security permissions for various District systems. Creates and maintains user/email accounts and distribution lists. Creates, maintains, and assists with logins for staff/students to all district resources.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition to the requirements listed below, regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
    • Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan.
    • Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
    • Sets up accounts and ensures proper access levels for new staff and modifies accounts for transferring staff based on coordination with Human Resources and by monitoring board report.
    • Creates, maintains, and documents Active Directory user accounts and groups.
    • Performs user, computer, and printer administration using directory services.
    • Creates and maintains security and distribution groups, and access permissions for student and financial systems.
    • Assists users with security related issues.
    • Assists Network, Windows, & Telecommunications Administrators with updates and changes to user accounts for e-mail/telecommunications systems.
    • Assists with account provisioning and role-based security assignment for student and business information systems.
    • Manages access request approval and workflow requests.
    • Configures, maintains, troubleshoots Google and Azure account synchronization.
    • Provides documentation of user and device security processes, procedures, settings, and applications.
    • Conducts routine auditing of user access.
    • Maintains all SSO, LDAPS, and other account synchronization technologies, maintaining all user accounts across all platforms.
    • Implements, maintains, and recommends security policies and controls for Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Users, and computers in alignment with the NIST CSF, specifically 800-53.
    • Documents all planned and unplanned changes in a change management system.
    • Provides input into the development and revision of district technology policies and procedures and ensures that they are adhered to.
    QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or Microsoft Certification preferred. 2 years’ successful experience in Information Technology, working with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, AWS, Azure, Google Suite, Adobe, and role-based user provisioning.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
    • Ability to demonstrate qualities aligned to our core values of Character, Communication, Collaboration and Continuous Improvement.
    • Knowledge of current Windows Servers required.
    • Knowledge or experience in automating account creation, activation, and deactivation across multiple systems.
    • Experience with SAML, SSO, LDAPS, and ADFS.
    • Knowledge of multifactor authentication administration.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
    WORK CALENDAR: 12 Months
    WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
