Rockford Fosgate, is a high-performance audio manufacturer located in Tempe, AZ. We are looking for a qualified individual for a Quality Assurance Coordinator/Specialist to add to our team. JOB TITLE:* Quality Assurance Coordinator/Specialist*

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Field incoming quality requests from customers and suppliers.
• Help manage the failure analysis process.
• Create and issue corrective action requests and review supplier response.
• With direction, communicate with suppliers and Engineers regarding product related issues, test issues and change requests.
• Create quality schedules related to the new product development process.
• Request and collect quality documentation from suppliers based on Rockford or Customer requirements. Ensure documents conform to requirements and assemble PPAP packages.
• Recommend changes or modifications to increase reliability, decrease failures and improve overall quality of products.
• Review outgoing product inspections.
• Assist review of production tests, repair tests, and failure analysis.
• Create shipping requests

· Help develop and manage processes that relate to quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft office applications.
• Experience working in a Quality function.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post secondary study in any of the following a plus: Quality, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of electronics and mobile audio a plus
• Mandarin fluency a plus

This position is based in Tempe, Arizona. No relocation assistance provided.
