Hey there! At Rocket Auto Repair, we're on the lookout for a friendly and skilled full-time Auto Repair and Maintenance Tech to join our team right here in sunny Salem, OR. If you've got a knack for all things automotive, a warm smile for our customers, and an eye on a competitive $19 - $21 per hour salary, then you're in for a treat.

You'll have a steady schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your weekends and explore all that Salem has to offer.

A TYPICAL DAY FOR YOU:

As an Auto Repair and Maintenance Tech at Rocket Auto Repair, picture this:

Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee and some Vehicle Lube, Oil, and Filter Services – it's like giving cars a spa day! Then, it's off to some Maintenance Inspections. You'll be like a detective, uncovering any potential issues, and with your friendly demeanor, you'll put our customers' worries at ease. Throughout the day, you'll dive into various Vehicle Maintenance tasks. From fluid flushes to belt replacements, you're the wizard behind the scenes, making sure our customers stay safe on the road.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A STELLAR AUTO REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE TECH:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• At least 6 months of verifiable shop experience in a related role
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary

Completion of a related vocational program and ASE auto maintenance and light repair (G1) certification is preferred but not required.
