Responsibilities:
- Perform general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
