Rockbridge is Hiring an AP/AR Specialist Near Columbus, OH
- Primary responsibility for and the participation in the end-to-end AR and AP processes for certain Rockbridge entities and projects.
- Responsible for gathering and reviewing all invoice approval and documentation requirements and entering invoices into the General Ledger (including Great Plains and Spectrum).
- Prepare, review and provide payment batch information to Rockbridge Treasury in connection with recurring payment cycles.
- Perform vendor due diligence procedures, including verbal confirmation of payment instructions.
- Manage the accounts payable inbox, investigate and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Direct and participate in the review and preparation of annual 1099 filings.
- Process billing to and collections from hotels, monitor the related outstanding balances and resolve issues with customers.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support the team with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
- Three to five years of related experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and hands-on
- Capable of navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and make progress on multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Excellent computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and/or Spectrum preferred.
