Rockbridge Flooring & More (the retail name of Rockbridge Flooring Professionals, LLC) was founded in Lexington, Virginia in 2003, relocated to the greater Richmond area in 2007, and returned to Lexington in 2015. James W. Higgins founded the company and has secured numerous certifications within the flooring industry. The company holds an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. Locally owned and operated, we are proud of our work and expect those who work for us to take great pride in their workmanship as well. We believe that when our employees feel good and find success, the business is also successful. Rockbridge Flooring is based in Lexington, Virginia and services residential and commercial clients within a 30-mile radius.
Typical hours are 7:30 to 3:30 Monday through Friday. Forty hours are not guaranteed, though overtime is often required; we’re flexible and will appreciate our employees to be as well.
Pay is based on experience and skill. You must have a valid driver’s license. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This job requires squatting, crawling, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, repeated trips up and down stairs, and remarkable attention to detail.
The types of work performed range from deliveries and assembly to actual product installation. We strive to play to your strengths. Our company builds custom showers, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, and installs flooring of all kinds.
