At Rock Springs we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives® We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to complete the health history and perform physical evaluations of psychiatric adolescent patients admitted to our outpatient PHP and IOP facility You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, in which you will communicate any medical concerns at time of admission and throughout the patients’ treatment. Members of our team Enjoy:

Position Details

• Oversees the quality of care delivered to his/her patients. 
• Assesses patient(s) and complete health history and physical evaluations in a timely manner. Addresses medical concerns at time of admission and throughout the patients’ treatment.
• Communicates medical decisions to staff to ensure appropriate care. 
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards. 
• Completes all documentation requirements legibly and within timeframes established by Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. 
• Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates collaboratively in scheduled staffing regarding the treatment of his/her patients. 
• Demonstrates appropriate medication administration and ensures that documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in family medicine, board certification preferred.
• License: Current unencumbered medical doctor (MD) licensure in the state of Texas
