A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) / PACU

As a Nurse in our PACU you will be responsible for a number of duties including guiding patients to consciousness and assisting them in handling personal needs in the first few hours after surgery. The right candidate will embrace, support, and adopt evidence-based care standards and continuing education that ensures quality improvements and patient safety regulatory requirements for best practices. This position will also assist with RN sedation for endoscopy cases and some pain management cases. Finally, PACU nurses are also responsible for assisting with the recovery of our Cath Lab patients.
