Rock Medical Group is Hiring a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Near Aspen, CO

LDRP RN - 13 Weeks

36 Hours (3X12s) - Nights

Overview:

The Obstetrics Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and AVH policy. Utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care. Works in support of the medical staff treatment plan and makes recommendations for changes to medical treatment plan as appropriate. Educates patients and family around the plan of care and disease management. Actively supports the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work Nights shifts for the duration of the contract (7pm - 7am, 3 shifts per week)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • BLS certification.
  • NRP certification.
  • Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN FHM or NCC C-EFM).
  • STABLE certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required

IMPORTANT NOTE

Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It’s extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs. $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt. Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.

Misc: Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation)
