**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, offering support and compassion throughout their journey. **Duties:** - Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments - Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide symptom management - Educate patients and families on treatment options and side effects - Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care - Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and treatment plans **Skills:** - Proficient in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients - Knowledge of sonography for diagnostic imaging procedures - Competent in medication administration, including IV therapy - Familiarity with trauma medicine to handle critical situations - Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong anatomy knowledge to assess and address patient needs effectively - Ability to work with various systems to document patient care accurately - Skilled in pain management techniques for oncology patients - Collaboration with doctors and healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of oncology patients while working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals.
