Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for scans
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their well-being
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT required
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Prior experience in CT scanning preferred
