Rochester Police Department is Hiring a Police Officer Near Rochester, IN

Job Overview:

The Rochester Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. Responsibilities:

- Enforce laws, ordinances, and regulations
- Conduct patrols to protect lives and property
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
- Investigate criminal activities and incidents
- Make arrests and prepare reports
- Provide assistance to the public and ensure community engagement
- Conduct traffic stops and issue citations when necessary

Some requirements are:

  • - Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and under 40 years of age at the time of appointment.
  • - High School Diploma or GED
  • - Ability to pass a written test and physical agility test
  • - Ability to pass a background investigation
