Rochester Ice Center is looking for an additional Zamboni Driver. Position is primarily seasonal (August-April), with the possibility of summer hours. Most weeks will be about 20-30 hours during the peak season. Responsibilities include the following:

• Ice Maintenance (ice cuts, flooding, edging)
• Zamboni routine maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, blade changes, washing)
• Responsible for cleanliness of general areas of the rink, including bathrooms, locker rooms, lobby areas, bleachers, and hallways
• Snow removal, shoveling walkways
• General maintenance around building

Qualifications

• Zamboni operation experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
• Knowledge of ice rink operations or ability to learn quickly

• Must be available nights and weekends
• No health benefits are offered with this position
• Zamboni driver reports directly to the Facilities Manager
• Ideal candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision
