ROCSCI High School is searching for an innovative, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to serve our school as a Living Environment/Science teacher. We are interested in candidates who have the ability to work with all students while effectively collaborating with the administration, faculty and staff towards the improvement of our instructional programming and, most importantly, the edification of our students.

We need Teachers who will:

• Provide engaging lesson plans the conform to the charter's curriculum
• Collaborate with staff to determine charter requirement for the instructional goals, objectives and methods
• Be ready to prepare students for the standardized tests relevant to the content area
• Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy
• Welcome the use of analytics and data to help drive instruction and promote learning
• Appreciate regular feedback, accountability and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students & communities

• Have great classroom management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with diverse population of students or in an urban setting a plus
• Prior teaching experience preferred and novice teachers encouraged to apply!
