The Opportunity:

The Roche Support Network group is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers by acting as the main point of contact and representative throughout the implementation process, solution correlation, and ongoing clinical application support. They take on responsibilities such as planning and coordinating implementation, conducting customer training, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the solution's life cycle. They offer on-site advisory support, analyzing individual customer needs and tailoring solutions based on personnel, workflow, and equipment capabilities. Additionally, they contribute to sales revenue by identifying opportunities for new system consumables. With advanced knowledge in specific areas, systems, or equipment, they independently analyze and resolve customer questions and problems, while also engaging in project management and business process reviews. The group actively participates in marketing and product development initiatives and ensures the maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality system.

In summary, the Roche Support Network group provides comprehensive support to customers by acting as their main representative throughout the implementation process and ongoing clinical application support. They offer tailored solutions, conduct customer training, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to sales revenue. With specialized knowledge, they independently analyze and resolve customer problems, engage in project management and business process reviews, and actively participate in marketing and product development initiatives. They also prioritize maintaining and improving the quality system to achieve quality objectives.

Territory-Northern California.

Travel-Travel up to 70% of the time Monday through Friday

Who you are:

  • Anatomic Pathology/Histology experience including: grossing, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, manual or automated Special Stains techniques (preferred)
  • Experience with manual or automated Immunohistochemistry and In Situ Hybridization techniques (preferred)
  • HT, HTL, QIHC certifications (preferred)
  • Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science or Clinical Laboratory Sciences
  • 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment
  • Ability to learn Roche solutions (i.e. chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, IT solutions), and stay current with industry trends
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills as well as project management experience
  • Effective customer consultative skills which include advanced scientific knowledge and
  • analysis, exceptional customer engagement, and fostering of strong customer relationships
  • Can work as a field-based individual contributor with independence and autonomy
  • Some nights, weekends and work outside standard business hours required
  • Travel up to 70% of the time Monday through Friday

This is a remote field based position.

Relocation is not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is 79,700.00 - 113,900.00 - 148,100.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
