The Opportunity

Join a team of passionate marketers to drive the development of promotional marketing strategies for key product launches and on-market products in the sequencing portfolio, managing implementation across channels and interfaces with stakeholders. Collaborate closely with other Global Marketing colleagues and work across our Marketing & Customer Insights (M&CI) organization to ensure channel alignment and best practice sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• You will serve as the main point of accountability for downstream marketing to the sequencing lifecycle teams, partnering with International Business Leaders, International Product Managers, and commercialization lead.

• You will create promotional marketing strategy for Gold and Silver prioritized marketing initiatives, including communication plan, channel strategy, campaign elements, and tactical plan. Also defines content marketing strategy by customer segment and leads coordinated execution of deliverables through the customer journey.

• You will develop messaging and differentiated value propositions based on go-to-market strategy, competitive landscape, and current and future portfolio, collaborating with the commercialization team.

• You will partner with business teams, other marketing functions, communications, and affiliates to ensure alignment, uptake, and impact of marketing initiatives.

• You will establish, monitor, and measure analytics (KPIs/OKRs) of marketing content/initiatives and leverage insights to maximize marketing program effectiveness. You will manage agencies and vendors to deliver quality outputs, creative concepts, and visual elements while managing costs within budget.

Who you are

Required Qualifications & Experience

• You hold a university degree in Marketing/Business and/or Sciences

• You have 10 years of relevant work experience in marketing or product management

• You have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the next-generation sequencing field

• You have familiarity with sequencing customers and sequencing-focused congresses

• You have wide experience in life sciences and genomics, with additional experience in the medical device and diagnostics industry considered an asset

Preferred Experience

• You hold a Master's Degree in Business (MBA)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $154,700 - 287,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
