Roccam Recruiting is Hiring a Recruiting Marketing Coordinator - Nonprofit Near San Francisco, CA

Come work with our team helping leading nonprofit agencies that are tackling the largest social issues of our day in homelessness, early childhood education, financial empowerment, racial justice, and more. 

You will be working with the marketing and communications managers at several nonprofits, and be responsible for increasing the visiblity of job openings across all Roccam nonprofit clients to develop pipelines of candidates. We are seeking an excellent writer (both copywriting and business writing) and graphic designer (digital ads, graphics, flyers, video) who is able to manage a content calendar and keep a watchful eye on job advertising performance and budgets.That includes the leading job advertising sites, and all social channels Instagram, Facebook and Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Mailchimp.

Essential Functions:

 Marketing 

  • Create and maintain a content calendar of regular client employer marketing activities in all channels. Coordinate with client marketing and communications teams to source and share content that builds positive employer branding. 
  • Regularly review all client employer marketing pages on Indeed, Glassdoor, and industry/function specific career sites. Manage feedback on employer ratings and reviews with approvals from clients comms/HR. 
  • At least weekly review of all client advertising performance, suggest improvements to increase efficacy. Propose and report on budgets and performance results.
  • Create or manage monthly email job posts (5-6) in MailChimp. 
  • Develop relationships with advertising, college career opportunities, alumni and local interest groups, job developers. 
  • Be the company expert on trends in job advertising and marketing new sources and more. Stay abreast of job boards, local employment market data, salary data, tools and technologies
  • Bring an attitude of constant improvement to recruiting
  • Work with client and team on employer marketing, candidate experience and all aspects of client process to align with changing priorities, expectations and business conditions
  • Promote Roccam brand and services, and our client opportunities through Roccam corp social media.
  • Provide weekly status updates on assigned openings including applications, interviews, offer status, troubleshooting.

Recruiting Activities

  • Open positions within 24 hours, advertise positions within 24 hours of posting openings.
  • Make sure all job opening and job advertisements are working properly, and have been spell checked for accuracy as well as client-specific boilerplates.
  • Conduct resume outreach on Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or other sites as necessary.
  • Ensure that each position has been featured on client social media, Roccam social media etc. Advocate for placement and promotion.
  • Provide weekly employer and job marketing status report to client account managers in advance of weekly client check-in meetings. Participate in client check-in meetings coming prepared with suggestions for improvement or changes
  • Maintain and monitor client’s ATS, Indeed, Craigslist, and social media accounts. Maintain close eye on advertising spend

Qualifications (knowledge, skills and abilities):

  • Excellent writing skills for external marketing and communications 
  • Graphic design for digital advertising and social media content
  • Experience implementing brand standards across campaigns
  • Demonstrated business client service skills in communications and project management
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people, both internally and externally
  • Ability to write and speak fluent Spanish OR Cantonese is desired. 
  • Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to make quick, accurate, and appropriate decisions
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of ATS software, job boards and associated hiring and recruiting systems HRIS, etc. Graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite. Web design HTML, SquareSpace
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Word, Excel, Flock, texting, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • Marketing experience in B2B or talent acquisition setting 
  • Sales, communications or recruiting experience, preferably in a social services sector
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
