Traffic Clerk- Miami, FL

Location: Doral, Florida/ Hybrid

The Traffic Clerk position provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function and coordinator. Responsible to bring and share information of all aspects related shipping, carriers, lead times, carrier rates and forwarders rates. Communicates with all the internal customers (customer service, sales, warehouses, procurement) in function to have a clear information about outbound and inbound. Prepare and process bill of landings, and other shipping documentations, revise and upload carrier contracts, and reinforce the communications with the carriers.

Position overview:

The traffic clerk reports to the traffic coordinator and is responsible for:

• Asist customer services with any issue on shipments, tracking, claims, rates, ocean or air shipments quotes
• Analyze information about ocean rates and tray to find the best options of carrier and forwarders.
• Track all the claims and upload in the systems. And make the documentation to obtain the reimbursement of claims.
• Follow all the transfers between internal DCs, and make all the accruals
• Help to accounting with invoices discrepancies and disputes.
• Asist to traffic coordinator with the creation of bookings, consolidation of shipments, direct containers orders, and quotes.
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience in logistics, traffic logistics and other areas
• Bachelor degree. BA in Business related field preferred.
• Knowledge in LTL, TL, AMS, ISF, CFS’s, DO’s, HBL’s, BOL’s and POD’s
• Ability to work with a variety of software systems AS400 and SAP is a plus
• Bilingual English/ Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
• Positive attitude
• Good customer service & collaboration with teams
