Responsible for assisting the shop in maintaining excellent customer service while providing our high standard product.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Act as second in command to the store manager by overseeing the entire operation of the restaurant; ensuring team morale, and restaurant ambience is upheld to Roburritos standards.
- Confidently handles guest complaints, concerns, and service issues with grace; focuses on finding solutions and resolving issues quickly.
- Handles all workers comp incidents.
- Shares responsibility with management team to follow all opening and closing procedures.
- Shares accountability of cost controls, in regards to food, beverage, and labor.
- Shares admin duties including banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities.
- Operates P.O.S. manager functions, ability to troubleshoot P.O.S.
- Ensures proper food handling; responsible for troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment, F.I.F.O., thermometers, and temperature checklist.
- Monitors restaurant equipment and ensures it is kept in good repair, if equipment breaks down , makes sure they are fixed in a timely manner.
- Manages labor deployment in the restaurant to ensure hourly labor is with in parameters of set labor budget.
- Monitors food waste, inventory, and resolves food quality issues.
- Maintains and manages food cost within restaurant, if issues arise helps troubleshoot the problem and come up with a solution.
- Assists GM with daily/weekly/monthly inventory.
