Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Duties:

- Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping activities
- Prepare and process orders for shipment
- Utilize order picking equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts to load and unload products
- Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment by verifying items against packing slips or purchase orders
- Package products securely for safe transportation
- Generate shipping labels and documentation
- Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments
- Maintain inventory accuracy within the warehouse
- Conduct regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies and resolve inventory issues
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping-related problems or delays
- Load and unload materials onto trucks for shipment
- Unload materials from trucks using dollies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect materials for damage or defects
- Organize and store materials in designated areas within the warehouse

Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or material handling preferred
- Significant physical activity with considerable stooping and lifting
- Must demonstrate ability to repetitively lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Significant physical activity with considerable stooping and lifting
- Proven experience in office management, shipping coordination, or a related role
- Strong organizational and with an eye for detail

Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
