We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee all housekeeping operations within our community and ensure a high standard of cleanliness both inside and outside the community.
As a Director of Housekeeping, you will manage the housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residential apartments, and community grounds. You will plan and schedule cleaning programs, oversee inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and develop and monitor department budget including purchasing and staffing expenditures.
You will also schedule and conduct training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel, ensure staff is trained on the safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with department guidelines and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other applicable rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and a minimum of two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous supervisory/ management experience is required.
