Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures, providing patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Take digital dental X-rays

- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and pre/post-operative care instructions

- Schedule appointments and assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Prior dental assisting experience preferred

- Eaglesoft knowlage preferred but willing to train the right person

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines

- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment
