General Description :
Administers the purchasing of raw materials, components and services according to approved specifications at the most favorable cost consistent with quality, quantity and availability.
Analyzes trends to determine timing and extent of purchase commitments. Expedites / delays deliveries thru the use of reports and vendor communication.
Responsibilities :Physical and Visual Activities :
Standing, sitting, fingering, talking, hearing, walking
Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions :
Indoor Conditions, Noise
- Knowledge
- Associates Degree preferred, minimum three years related experience
- Expected Training Period
- 9 to 12 months
- Machines, Tools, Equipment
- PC / computer programs, proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access
- Information / Directions
- Verbal and written instructions
